Cookie Policy

GenerEdge, Inc. — Last updated: September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies generedge.com uses, what they do, and how you control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example, that you already answered a consent prompt. Similar technologies such as localStorage work the same way for our purposes and are covered by this policy.

What we use

We keep this deliberately small. We use two categories:

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and are set without asking, because the site cannot function correctly without them.

  • ge_consent_v1 — stores your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every page. Stored in your browser only. Expires when you clear your browser data.

Analytics (optional — only with your consent)

These help us understand which pages people visit and where they run into trouble, so we can improve the site. They are not loaded at all unless you press “Accept analytics.” If you choose “Essential only,” no analytics script is downloaded and no analytics cookie is set.

  • Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — provided by Google. Measures page views, traffic sources and general usage patterns. We enable IP anonymisation. Typically expires after 2 years.

What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media trackers, or cross-site profiling on this website. We do not sell the data collected here.

How to control cookies

You can change your choice at any time using our . Selecting “Essential only” stops analytics from loading on your next page view.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser lets you do this — look for “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data” in your settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of this and other websites behave.

If you would prefer to opt out of Google Analytics across every website you visit, Google publishes a browser add-on for that purpose.

Third-party content

Our scheduling links open Calendly in a new tab. Calendly has its own privacy and cookie practices, which apply once you are on their pages.

Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google when a page loads. This happens on every page, before and regardless of your cookie choice, and sets no cookie — but Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. We do not embed third-party tracking widgets in our own pages.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page. Material changes to how we handle analytics will also reset the consent prompt so you can make a fresh choice.
