Steve began his career as a lawyer in Washington, DC. After a few years, he became a partner in residential and mixed-use community development in the Washington DC area. 

Over the past decade, Steve has focused his “third act” on forming and developing a nonprofit financing platform that seeks to reduce the use of fossil fuels by providing loans to the customers of residential and commercial contractors who specialize in installing energy-saving devices and systems.
